2002 PENASQUITOS GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION

5TH ANNUAL PADRE NIGHT FUNDRAISER

Dear Team Managers and Coaches for the 2002 Season:

Padre Night is a voluntary fund-raiser that we have had for the last four seasons. This is the primary fundraiser for PQGSA. The money we have raised in past years has been used to build and maintain the fields at Park Village School, purchase the storage sheds at Park Village and the Mini-Rookie field and help pay for the lights on Canyonside Field 5.

The Padre Fund-raiser is voluntary. The cost of each ticket is $11.00 and you get to go to the game and get a chance to win raffle prizes. The team that sells the most tickets will pick a player to go on the field before the game.

The game will be Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 7 p.m., Padres vs Dodgers, and it will be Padre Magnet Night, and Lake Elsinore Storm Cap Night.

Team Managers will collect the money from the parents on the team. Parents are welcome to invite friends, relatives, neighbors, and anybody who has hit you up for fund-raisers.

Team Managers will turn the money in to either Kevin Fennell or Scott Gellerman.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE PADRE FUNDRAISER:

03/01/02: E-mail to division coordinators, managers, and coaches

03/03/02: Pass out Padre Night Flyers with league book at picture day

03/26/02: Last chance for managers to turn money in (Round Table Pizza, 6- 8PM)

04/02/02: Team Managers pick up tickets at Round Table Pizza, 6-8PM

04/05/02: Team Managers pick up tickets at Round Table Pizza, 6-8PM

04/13/02: Padre Night, 7PM
