The value of a team parent cannot be overemphasized! The team parent is the liaison between the manager and the other parents. The team parent also distributes uniforms when they arrive and coordinates the making of the Team Banner. The team parent generally arranges for a female adult (18 years or older) to be at all practices and games. The team parent handles the team money and organizes many other things including carpooling, a phone tree, snack lists, and the end of season team party and coaches gifts.
